What a check costs us, and what we charge

Per level: the price of a report, what the check behind it costs us to run, and the margin between the two. The record is what we charge for; the checking is close to free, and this page keeps that claim honest.

published after the first month of runs

The cost figure is the engine's spend over the last thirty days divided by the receipts sealed in the same window, taken from the daily metrics the nightly agent collects. Until a full month of runs exists there is no honest denominator, so the table waits. The columns it will show: the price per report, the cost per report, the margin, and the components of that cost — source fetching, archiving, and the model calls per report.
